FTC Team 18603 · Terabridges

Robotics is where software meets the real world.

As a captain, programmer, and engineering contributor, I work across robot software, autonomous strategy, system design, testing, documentation, and team leadership.

Overview

FTC is a long-term engineering practice: build an idea, test it under constraints, learn from failure, and make the whole system more reliable. My focus is translating strategy into software that the team can understand, test, and trust.

Leadership

As captain, programmer, and engineering contributor, I help connect technical decisions to match strategy, team priorities, and reliable execution.

Robot software

I develop and refine Java software in the FTC SDK for mechanisms, driver controls, system coordination, and dependable on-field behavior.

Autonomous strategy

Autonomous work combines path planning, mechanism sequencing, timing, and recovery thinking to turn match objectives into repeatable routines.

Vision / localization

I explore computer vision and localization methods that help the robot estimate its position and respond to field conditions.

Control systems

Feedback, state management, and careful tuning help mechanisms move accurately while remaining understandable and maintainable.

Engineering documentation

Design notes, code organization, testing records, and clear explanations preserve decisions and help the team improve faster.

Competition experience

Competition provides the real test: limited time, noisy data, changing strategy, and the need to diagnose problems without losing focus.
